Jake did try to call me today, but I was at work and couldn't get to the phone. I know that they were getting heavy rain and lots of wind! I said to Cathy in another group that sometimes they will take the ship out to sea with certain conditions. Evidently the ship is safer out to sea than next to the dock??? Maybe Stoelton can clarify that info.

I spoke (actually texted) with Chris last night and he said it was very cold with fierce winds and rain. My poor Florida boy is not liking this at all! But he said the ship was warm!

Mine is missing the weather in Virginia but he got it in Pensacola! He's there for training and will be going back to Virginia on Saturday.

So glad you ladies have some new. I saw the weather this morning as they had a reporter at VA beach. I did try to call my son but no luck. He does not get service below deck. Thanks for the heads up on the wavy link I will be checking that out. I guess if they are going to be in the Ocean ( not out there but..) on a boat this is the best one to be on.

Hey Ladies, just heard from PO Stoelton, he said everyone is fine, the bridges are shut down, 60 miles per hour winds, cold and alot of rain. Check out Wavy.com for the weather in Virginia, this was posted on the Virginia families and friends page. Also, Molly his phone is out of service, but I have a number to reach him if we need too. T

My sailor lost his phone while he was home and does not have one :( So I have not heard a thing from him BUT no news is good news i think.
Plus I just call Stoelton if I need to get to my son (LOL LOL )
Poor Stoelton I wonder if he realized what he did when he joined us here ?? he is our go to guy now !!! (Thanks buddy boy)

Ok last post was Nov 8th, just wanting to hear from others that their Sailor is okay, this storm that is hitting sounds like a real dusy...Son quickly told us they closed the bridges down. Hubby is flyin out there to drive back to Indiana because my Sailor will be doing Harp duty here for the next two weeks, Im just hoping this weather isnt going to hinder this, and I hope all there is doing well with this storm!
