Hello Mom's, i am taking a break making Eric & Katie hooded bath towels for Christmas. hubby called and has to work late . so i figured i would catch up . Eric is doing great after his hospital stay and Katie is crawling all over. she tries to climb the stairs to Eric's room and he pulls her legs back down. so yes he is back to being all boy lol. we can't be with them these Hoildays, hubby has a medical problem so we had to use his vacation that was left to take care of it. i know it's hard not to be with your sailors. our daughter in law has duty. so Glenn will be taking care of kids and making dinner. wish i could be a fly on his kithen wall LOL. 2sailor-mom have a blast with your sailor and give him a hug from us moms. take care God Bless you all and Happy Thanksgivng from our house to yours.

On the ship? Didn't know anyone could go on the ship while it was in the shipyard.

My sailor will be spending the holiday away from home, again. Last year he was in GL for boot and this year on the Bush. I wish we could go see him and spend time with him there. If it wasn't for our "zoo", we would've went for the weekend.

Pep Boys is a national chain, and their prices are set by region I guess. Good idea.

My son had to have some repairs done on his truck and the first place he took it to ripped him off big time, double what is should have cost. The next time he took it to Pep Boys, don't know if they do axle's or not but maybe they can recommend a place. oh, and Pep boys did a fine job....

That's a good question Cindy. Did he buy the Jeep there in Virginia? If it was a dealership, you would think they would treat them well. I'll ask my daughter and see what she and her friends have been doing.

My Sailor just gashed his head in - running up the stairs & not looking -crashed into a closed hatch door -DUHHHHH!!!
TG he is OK though - 14 stitches later.

Careless is all and in too much of a hurry. Hopefully he learned a lesson!

I have a question. Would anyone by any chance know where my lad can take his Jeep to have the bent axle repaired or any other repairs done on it? He seems to 'get taken' wherever he goes and I was hoping someone else's Sailor had a place they used that they trusted not to 'screw' them and overcharge. If you could ask around, I'd appreciate it. Just being a Mom -ha!

my sailor will have watch also, but will be home after Christmas.... yea Can't wait to hug his neck.
