I didn't even know they went out! The lad never said anything. In fact he just got his phone yesterday that was sent to his buddies house in town. His bud brought it to him on the ship. I am so lost -DUH! maybe I'm just not paying attention?

Brilliant. The prayers will continue for a full and speedy recovery. Now -exhale dear and don't forget to take care of you - he will need you 100% when he gets home. So, a smile for us all today then - makes us happy.

Another update from Sarah, Glenn called last night but we hit the bed and fell into a deep sleep i guess never heard phone. Dam.

good evening all,
today was another big day. eric went down to have his abscesses drained. the doctor showed us all his big ones. most were in tricky spots. the good news is that the doctor, who was a specialist, was able to drain most of them. eric came out of the proceedure with a drain out of his tummy but that will only stay a couple of days. we let him sllep off the seditive and when he woke up he asked for juice and wanted to walk to the playroom. he was talking in sentances and when he saw the drain just said eeeuu. he wasn't able to walk to the playroom because he is still a bit sore, but he did drink all his juice and is eating ice. so i think we can say today was a good day and a big step in the right direction. thank you all one more tme for al your love , thoughts and prayers.

well another update. i don't know how much more our little man can take. he is a trooper. Dr. said at least he is a fighter. heres update and thank you for your thoughts and prayers.

well it took a while to track down the doctor but we finally got the results of Eric's ct scan. of course good news and bad. bad news is he not only has an abscess he has several. one is between his stomach and liver so they can't drain it with out major surgery, but the good news is the doctor doesn't want to do the surgery. he thinks Eric's body will absorb most of the abscesses on his own with medicine. so they have started him on different and more medicines. he will have to be in the hospital for another 7 days at least. they are going to try to drain as many abscesses by needle as they can to help Eric fight off the infections. the way the doctor is talking Eric will need to stay in the area for more treatment after he gets out of the hospital but we need to worry about getting him eating first. thank you for all your well wishes and prayers.

Micki, Sarah, and Glenn,

You know you have all of our support. When you think of us know that we are thinking of you as though we are right there. I am so sorry your little guy has to go through this. I hope the doctors quickly find whatever is keeping him sick and are able to give him relief.
