Ok sounds good. We are anxious to see the ship. It is just so hard to imagine a ship 20 stories tall. I am sure I will be amazed when I see it. I have to wait awhile (not that I want to). I can only afford so many trips from Minnesota so want to spread them out.

I have a son Brian on the ship also! I am not sure how the visiting works. We went down to the ship's commissioning in Jan and the day after my son was able to take me on a tour of the ship. I think they are busy now, I will ask my son your question, maybe he knows he's been there awhile now.

Hello. I have a question if anyone cn help me out.I ask my son and he never knows the. Maybe cause he has only been there a month.
We would like to go and visit hime sometime . Is there a particular time when you are allowed to visit and go on the ship. I am assuming you can not go just anytime?

He slept under the same roof as me for the first time in ages. It doesn't matter how old they get or where they are in life, I am still first and foremost, a mom. Thank you Lord. I am blessed.

My son comes home tonight for leave. I can't wait to see him. For the first time in what seems like forever, all four of my children will be at the dinner table together! I feel so blessed.

Cindy...send a request through the Bush's website, it's in the middle column. They will confirm with your sailor that they are your relative and you will begin to get it monthly.

I never underestimate the power of prayer. Miracles happen every day.
How wonderful the lad will be 'sprung' at last! Home is where the heart is and what a great support you have given the lad.
We could have a card shower for him so get us that address ok dear?
I'm sure I am speaking for all of us when I say that we are wholeheartedly thankful for this great news. Have a great weekend and give that little man a big hug and kiss from all his Navy Moms & Dads.
