oh..I'm sure Zach knows Patrick. this is hard as they know each other by last name! but we can't say that here.

Margo~ I'm sure he does if they are on the fly squad...that's so cool...even though I was just out there, I can't wait to see him when he comes home for Christmas...I'll ask him if he knows Sprayberry.

Oh wow, does your son know Sprayberry. I belive he is also on the fly squad. He is a good friend of my sons.

oops...I forgot the most important thing he does...he's on the "fly squad" which means, he's a first responder/fireman and if something catches on fire, he's the first to be there.

Hello Ladies...yep, I was at the commissioning, that's where my page photo was taken. Zach had duty that day. Zach is in engineering. He is in charge of elevator operations, bringing aircraft up to the flight deck, and runs the diesel generators that get the ship moving. I didn't get to go on the tiger cruise, but I am ok with that. San Diego was beautiful, but I once lived there when my dad was in the Navy...so I already knew it was. Zach is loving it there.

Oh my gosh Anna, I didn't realize that your son has been in San Diego for awhile. For some reason, I thought he had just arrived; sorry about that. My son is an ABH. I have the same questions as Laurie does for you; maybe our sons know each other.

Greetings Anna and welcome!
I live in the Denver area. My son works on the flight deck, an ABH yellow shirt. Where does Zach work? Were you at the Commissioning? I was on the Tiger Cruise and loved every min of it.
Margo ( hi you:) is right, this is a very friendly and supportive group. We're here to suppot each other and our sailors.

Zach is a plank owner...he was assigned when he finished A-school. He came home for a while and flew to San Diego in December of last year. From there, he was sent to Mississippi and brought the ship back around South America.

Thanks so much for the encouraging words. Zach is the only child I have, so I'm excited to be involved in all ways of support. I live in Indiana...where are you?
