My daughter is OS Radar's & Sonars, Her heart is broken she wanted to be stationed in Japan where her Love is..but, it is what it is. I don't like the idea that the Navy has put my 2 babies on the same base. She is trying to find out the strike force that her ship is connected with. anyone have that info please PM me so I can let her know.. thanks..

Merry X-Mas to all of the Familys and Sailor on the USS Mason, I have my sailor home for X-mas this Year! Only for a small time but I will take what I can get!!

Welcome Donna! My sailor (husband in 16 days) is an ET on the USS Mason! He is excited! Tell your daughter to be happy! What does she do?

Welcome to the Mason, My son is a cook and they are comming back soon. as Alyce said they do go out for a week or two that is all I know. My son is happy on the ship.

The ship is not on deployment at this time. They just got back in April of this year and probably will not deploy again until sometime next year. Due to OPSEC I don't think I should say exactly where the ship is at this moment but all the ships go out for a few days or weeks at a time for drills, tests, etc. They should be "standing down" for the holidays in the next few days.

Ladies I just got a call from my youngest sailor and she just got orders to be on the Mason, can anyone give me info. on the ship, ? please.

Hi ladies, I just got a call from my sailor and she just got her orders, her ship is the USS Mason DDG. Can anyone tell me if this ship is out to sea? My daughter us very upset, I had to calm her down.

Hey everyone.. Derrick is really excited to get to the ship finally and be all done with C school.. He is ready to experience the "real Navy" :) I was just wondering if there were any updates on the ship at all? I am sure no one knows but I guess there is no harm in trying to find out some things. how is everbody doing, how is their sailor doing on the ship. their is a inspection for the gally I hope that all goes well and they do very well. Does anyone live in or near Maryland

you dont have a planed life while you have a sailor I am finding this out but I do plan some things but on short notice
