I also was on the Tiger cruise that had to turn back, waves were great, would rock you to sleep, was a great experience, wish I had more time with my daighter, she was grinding, the worst job on ship, all sailors take rotations, kitchen, bathrooms and laundry!!! Joyce,

My husband and I were on the Tiger Cruise on the USS Momsen last March. I got used to the waves, but then they weren't too high. They had to turn us around because they were expecting higher Seas. I really enjoyed the experience! I don't know if there is one this year. I would ask your sailor. :)

Stevemom56, thanks for the pictures, its difficult to find anything out. I agree, I feel a little more connected to my son when I can have some small piece of information. Facebook is helpful from time to time, too.  I got a email,  my son said he  received two care pkgs at the same time. Wow, he was so happy!

Have a great Monday everyone!

Here are some pictures the Navy posted of the USS Momsen from February 8th & 9th! They were in the Gulf of Oman. I like following where they have been! It helps me to connect with my son in a small way! Enjoy! :)

I get so nervous hearing the reports about Iran. Am keeping all the men and women over there in my prayers.

Here's a picture that the Navy posted on Jan 29th of the USS Momsen passing the Freedom Bridge as it transits the Suez Canal!
