Dear Pat,
Welcome aboard!! Finally another mom!! This group didn't "sail" off at all! UGH!
No, my daughter Kim has not been deployed yet. She got stationed last November, right after the USS Normandy came back from deployment. So all she's been doing, has been odd jobs and learned just about all the ships jobs.

As far as what Kim has said, January 2010, the ship is expected to deploy.
Nothing has been said about prior cruises,

I wish your son WIlliam all the best!! Kim said she has made so many new friends, and is loving every minute of it. Thank God!! HAHA!

Did WIlliam just graduate? If so, congratualtions!!

Hi Barbara - My son William just reported to his first work station. He has been assigned to the USS Normandy. How is your daughter doing? Has she been on deployment yet?

My daughter Kim will soon be aboard, and I'll like to chat with other moms with children on that ship.
