Dang Diane, jigs up, cat's out of the bag, we DO tell everyone it rains ALL the time, originally devised to keep all the Californians from finding out, moving up here and taking advantage of our great home prices back then. Didn't work, they came anyways, including some of my relatives. LOL Now that home prices have skyrocketed, and traffic has worsened, they are migrating over to my side of the mountains! J.K., we all love Cali AND Floridians, especially if they are attatched to Sailors. =) I'm sure it'll take a few days to feel like all of you is home, and even then, I know a piece of your heart was left here. :)

It was a pleasure meeting all of you- Kimmy, how did I miss you? I probably snapped you in one of my photos and didn't even realize it. Speaking of, I just finally uploaded all of mine to my computer, (forgot to take my card reader, got back very late Sat nt, unpacked and was worthless/exhausted Sun, hit the ground running Mon, haven't slowed since) but I need to dash off now. I will try to get some posted here and to the Molly's Adopt a Sailor Group Nov/Dec discussion. I've got some homeschool reports to finish writing by tomorrow, then I can get back online and post pics late Thurs. Jean, I'll e-mail yours to you too, great moments captured, hope you and everyone else will be pleased. :-)

Rebecca, did you at least use any Aloe Vera Lotion after you burned? Might have saved you some of that endless peeling! We'll have to refer to you as the snake woman now! hee hee Seriously, hope you are through the itchy agony soon. Sorry to hear you've been in pain too Brenda, that doesn't sound like fun at all. :( A quick recovery to you and a return to solid foods.

Rae, do continue to enjoy the simple pleasures of all your men around the house and keep getting stronger and recovering. Brayden was such a doll baby in his little Sailor suit! :D (((HUGS)))

Hello there!!!!
Just wanted to let you know we sooooooo enjoyed the homecoming. I was so proud to see Brandon standing on deck when the ship came in. I recogized him right away. It was so great to get a hug when he stepped off the ship. He had to work on wed and thurs but he was able to leave the ship and have dinner with us and stay at the hotel. The 4:00 am drop off at the base was a little hard on us but we made it. We did get to pick him up on thurs at 3:00 and have him with us until we went home early sunday morning. We hit a few malls, did the underground tour, duck tour and space needle. I think we gained a few pounds enjoying wonderful greek, sushi, dim sum and seafood. Washington was beautiful but it was so nice to get home and get back into the old routine. Thanks so much Heather....for keeping us informed on homecoming. It was great to meet you at the pier......plus I got to meet Brayden. Rae Ellen he is such a cutie. Well I had classes early monday and tuesday morning so today I am trying to get laundry done and catch up on housework. Rebecca you did an awesome job. I wanted to tell you thanks for everything.....especially last month when you helped me get Brandon home after Logan passed away. You were so busy and I didn't a chance to say thanks in person. Soooo Big Thanks!!! Enjoy your evening girls!!!!!

oh wow, still peeling... that sucks bad. =) use a loofah. LOL. We do live in a beautiful state. I love it up here. I love to move away too though and see what else is out there. To be able to come back to WA and see how beautiful it is compared to other states. YA KNOW?

Diane I am happy to hear that you are back and safe. Sorry that your time is still jacked up. So glad that you were able to come out this way though. YAY!

Rae Ellen, the peeling is kicking my ass! I've never peeled so much and itched so much in my life! A freaking week later and I'm still peeling and itching! OYE

Ladies, I am so glad that you had a great time in WA. It is a beautiful state, when the sun is out. Thankfully you all got here and we had some NICE weather. So nice that I got my first bad sun burn. I was so busy on that pier, that I felt my head spin around. Wish that I had a little more time to talk with you all that day. :(

Ok, off to shower and get more of this dead skin off of me. That will teach me to NEVER again take for granted how damn easily I burn.:P

We had a fantastic time in WA and the weather was GREAT....I think all you residents in WA, tell us it rains all the time just to keep people away....LOL WA is one of if not the most beautiful place in The US i have even seen...Green-flowers everywhere.....just an all around great city ...And hope to visit again someday....
I am now just adjusting to the time zone change, when that is done....all will be well....but at this moment it is kicking my ass...hard to keep my eyes open...just want to "coach potato it" for a few days....but life calls...
have a great day!!

Rebecca how is the peeling coming along? All this sun is wonderful. I enjoyed the rain last night while I was sleeping though. It always puts me to sleep.

Hey Ladies --- thank you for a fantastic homecoming! Who ordered the weather on Tuesday? I could have used a Xerox copy of that the rest of the week. I had a great time in WA and I can't thank the people who worked on everything enough. Great job.

Can't wait to hear how everyone is doing.....Tiffany?
