I recieved my first email from Jim couldnt have come on a better day i leave on vacation today so i get to hear from him. Barbara Jim told my mom the same thing in his email to her thank god jim was brought up on boats not as big as the one he is on know but still all the same he did say it is hard to walk. Happy 4th see ya in a week

Our poor sailors on the Reagan, they are experiencing 70+ foot swells now and there are a lot of seasick people. My son is doing fine with it but he said every once in awhile they fly off a swell and the bow hits down, he says it feels like they're running over whales. The waves are crashing over the flight deck. WOW!

Hi Navylove10, go to www.reagan.navy.mil and click on Family Services on the left hand side. You'll need to apply for access and your sailor will need to admit he's related to you :) You'll receive an email with a password and you can get into the stuff we're talking about. The Great Communicator (GC) is a newsletter and Scuttlebutt is a forum for us to talk. See you there!

Hi everyone, som of you were talking about a RR newsletter friends and family section? Is that on this website? If so where do I find it? If not where is it? LOL I try to get all the information I can. Thanks.
I had my VTC (video tele call) yesterday. IT WAS SO WONDERFUL!!! My boyfriend has lost SO much weight already. I am motivated now. He is exhausted and can;t wit to get home. I feel so bad for all of them for all the LONG hours they work and all that is expected from the, This is his last deployment, he's been in 19 years already, he thought it might be easier but he says it's the hardest one yet. I can't wait for him to come home so he can sleep and I can take care of him for a change. Poor guys! Hugs to all.

Congrats Cindy, i hope all goes well for the birth of your grandson. I can hardly wait to be a Grandma! I don't even have daughters-in-laws yet. :( Y'all take care and have a wonderful 4th of July! ;-}
