I SO wish I was going to San Diego but alas I'm in Seattle to stay!! I can't wait to hear from everyone who goes to homecoming and those that got to do the tiger cruise!

I wish I could answer that for you, my son told me he tried to send the file they gave him for the families and it was too big for his account to handle...just got the other flyer about directions to the pier.

Does anyone know if they are going to have anything on the Midway this year, like last year? For the family and freinds sort of a reception the night before?

THANK YOU SO MUCH YOU GUYS! Today, I am finally feeling like I am getting better. You are right about fluids, my dear Mom died of dehydration from the flu. I think it is the thing that is costing Swine Flu victims their lives. I am still on Prednisone and an inhaler...walking to the ship is gonna be challenging. I think I should put my gear on a hand truck...definitely taking a chair this time.

The weather is supposed to be really nice. I hope the morning is clear! They usually come in around 9:00am.

I will try to greet as many sailors as I can, I will be hanging around the Navyformoms.com tent...is that right? There is a tent, right? I hope they put it near the balloon gateway, that way we can capture the most attention from people and the local news film crews.

I am so excited...can't wait for my hug. It will be a great Mommy Day!

Brenda we didnt get hit with the snow like they where calling for it was all south of us and in PA we are leaving for Alabama today and going thru Ohio so i hope you didnt get any snow we are headed out to see our sailor that is flying in to AL. on sat im so excited to see him

We will be leaving tomorrow morning for San Diego. We are going to take our time and stop a few places along the way. I can't wait to get to SD!

Hello, my son did not leave on the RR but is coming back on the RR.From what i am reading it looks like i might be able to watch the homecoming via webcam???
