Update and Prayer Request for Yvonne 3/4/23

I have an update and prayer request for Yvonne.

She is doing well in her physical recovery. She finished her rehab stay at Lake Taylor where they treated her wonderfully and her therapy was excellent! She is walking much straighter and can lift her feet much higher. She began in home therapy last week having completed two PT sessions. It looks like we are getting the same OT and PT therapists that she had last year. We requested them because they were so good and Yvonne did so well with them last year.

My prayer request for her is for spasms she is having in her legs at night - all night! She gets about two hours of sleep at a time and then the spasms begin and wake her up. She has to sit up to get them to stop. We usually end up sitting up anywhere from half an hour to an hour each time. The spasms hurt her so much that she cries and doesn't want to lay back down. But sleep deprivation would only make things worse for her. I work hard to get her to lay back down. She doesn't look forward to going to bed at night because of the spasms.

Please pray for her in this area specifically; as well as her overall recovery. As this ordeal continues it gets harder and harder, but we are still believing and holding on to what God promised us; that He would restore her to health and heal her wounds. Jeremiah 30:17. Thank you for your ongoing prayer support! We know God has heard and answered now for over a year! He has not brought us this far to leave us now. Especially since He said "I will never leave you nor forsake you. Therefore we can say with confidence, 'The Lord is our helper' we will not be afraid. (Hebrews 13:5-6). We have also been reading and holding on to Hebrews 10:35-39. "So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what He has promised..."
