Our daughter is just finishing her 2nd year as an enlisted sailor. Now she tells us she wants to go for a "paid administrative leave" so she can attend college next fall (which would start just shy of finishing her 3rd year in the Navy). Her details are nebulous to us parents.
Any advice/clarification on what options sailors have BEFORE their contract is up as far as taking time out to start college and then hopefully enter the officer track?
