Hearing back from recruit

Hello! I’m a New navy spouse and my husband left for basic training January 7th 2024 and I was just wondering when should I expect a phone call or a letter from him ? because I feel like I’m going crazy lol I’ve been using Sandboxx to write him letters and they are saying delivered but I haven’t gotten any replies yet.
