Heading to see my MC on the Bush for Thanksgiving. He just graduated A school in April and has so many pics published and now an article on Navy.mil website. So unbelievably proud. Of all of them.

- I just read your comment about the stores not carrying Veteran's Day cards. What a shame!! I believe if enough of us complain they will have them in stock next year!!!

I was telling my husband that your Dan probably knowing both of our boys was one of the nice features of the Navy. I had asked my older son about Dan and he said, yes, he had met him and that Dan said he knows Ian. Very nice. I told my oldest that I was acquainted with you on Navy for Moms. I am not sure what the boys think about Navy for moms :-), but I like it and am pleased to make your acquaintance!

My daughter, Ashley (20), has been in the Navy since July 2007 and is an IT3 & my son Tim (19), an SH, has been in since Feb 2008 stationed on the USS Nimitz. We have something for everyone here groups from boot camp moms to overseas moms and moms that like to scrap book. We have meet and greets to events that the moms set up to meet each other and have dinner or an outing. There are groups to help you with each and every step of this wonderful adventure that our children have chosen called the US Navy.
