Moms, dads, brothers, sisters, friends, and DEPers all arrived for dinner with MCPON West. I am so sorry that my friend that was going to carpool with me did not get to go. It's been too long since we chatted. How is your sailor doing? Andy is happy to be in prototype. He likes the hands on aspect of it. We have time off school at Christmas, and even though he may not have it off, we are going. Have a daughter-in-law to dote on, too.
Since I saw you, I got a head cook's position in our school district. The pay is not much different, but I qualify for their health insurance. It's saving us big bucks as compared to being on hubby's plan.
Keeping busy with the overseas packages in Molly's group. Now, our church has adopted a group for Christmas, and we are in the planning stages for Valentine's day shippings.

Oh, you mentioned handling the flag when you were young in a ceremonial way, no, the 'folds' thing wouldn't have been taught because origianally there was no 'reason' to fold it a certain way. It's just that somewhere over time, someone, somewhere came up with it and so many people loved it that it has become a part of many ceremonies.
