GETTING MARRIED IN 12 DAYS!! I am so excited!

That's exciting! :) When is your wedding?
That's good! I do want a big wedding, but it's cutting into time I can be with Brandon..I know was all is said & done, I will be happy with my choice...I have less than 2 weeks til I see him! :)
It feels like it was a lot easier to plan it this way instead of planning a HUGE wedding the first time. I'm happy with my decision!
I wish we did have done the court house! We want to move up the wedding but have already planned too much!

- About me:
- Hi everyone, My name is Andrea and my husband graduated BC on 11/26! He is now in GL waiting to class up in A school. The last couple of months have been such a roller coaster, the ups when getting to see my husband,and the downs when i have the lonely days and feels like i havent seen him in months and wont see him soon. I NEVER thought it would be as hard as it has been, but I guess this is the way things go in the Navy. Before 10/6/08 I never really understood, or paid much attention to military personnel or their families. Now living it, I understand how much sacrifice and commitment families must make for their loved one to serve thier country. The hardest part is trying to explain to my 4 yr old why daddy isnt here all the time. As for me, I know it has made our relationship stronger. I just cant wait til hes done in GL so i can see him again, so he can come home to me everday, like it used to be....:(

At the hotel waiting for 3pm...
So, its monday now and our weekend is over :(..But it was a great one! The time didnt fly by like it usually does. He got to see christian which really helped both of them, becuase it had been 3 months since they saw eachother. The hotel im staying is great, becuase check out time is 12pm and they are letting me stay till 2pm at no charge so i dont have to go wander around until i can see Darius again! Valentines day 2009, and venting
So, now its back to being lonely...:(..I got to see my baby cakes this weekend, and I was in heaven. Just being able to see him for Valentines day made my month..lol. Seeing him with roses when I came down the escalator in the airport felt like I was in a love movie, lol. Melia said… - I saw your post in forums. I see that your husband is in GL. Why hasn't he been to Personal property office here in GL? It is right by the Navy lodge, right across the street from a gas station, in the same building as housing office. You can't schedule a move there yourself. HE has to do it for you here in GL.
As Anti M said, if he says he doesn't know what to do, he hasn't asked the right people. He have to ask if he doesn't know something and he is responsible to take care of the move.

- Andrea, my son is home on leave right now and I thought if your husband happened to be home now, too, they could meet. Colin has been a quartermaster for over three years now, so he might be able to give a few words of advice before deployment.

Alice from Texas said… - Andrea,My son James is A QM on the USS Nassau LHA4,in Norfolk.The ship has been in drydock for awhile,but is back in the water now,and will be deploying soon.You might get a month before they go out.But the Nassau is way over due to get underway.One thing you need to know is tell your husband DO NOT leave anything laying around are its gone.They watch new guys and steal from them because they don't know,not everyone is like that just a small few but they are on every ship.The Navy can only help you if it was something locked up.But other than that the Nassau is a great ship,A proud group.WELCOME ABOARD

I'm going to visit him for his graduation and then he is coming home for a couple weeks. Then he goes out to Hawaii...I wish I could go with him now but I have to finish school and I don't graduate until December.

- Hi Andrea. His first choice is VA. That's gonna be like 6 hours from me, but better than 9 hours. I won't get to see him again until he comes home... I don't have the money and can't miss anymore school..We're thinking about marriage this fall, it really all depends on if he'll be sent to fleet, or be land based for a while, so I'm getting excited about that I just want him to figure out what's going on so I can plan my future a bit more..haha What's your husband's first choice? I hope they all get to go where they want!!! Are you gonna be able to go for another visit?

He has been in for about a year and a half and he sighned on for 4 years. he is talkin about going to officer school. But then again he has also talked about comin home to start our family. either way i will suport him and be there for him. after all that is my duty as his wife. he is dead set on making me his bride. And i have my heart set on spending the rest of my life with him. So no matter what we are getting married when he comes he. i think your a very woman and i plan on taking taking your advise
