Profile Information

About me:
I'm Alicia. My family and I are lovers of nature & animals. We live on a farm in rural, Exeter, RI. I have adopted 5 wild american mustangs over the past 3 years. My first two, Duke & Duchess, have two beautiful offspring named Trinity & Serenity. We also rescued a spotted draft colt named Thor who is now about 1600lbs...and still a big baby...We also have a pair of Emu's name Godiva & Henry. We have various peafowl, guinia hens, chickens, piglets, 3 dogs; Titus, Hemi & Dweezle, and 4 cats; Ghost, Bruiser, Lucian & Twister!

UPDATE~~~ We have adopted a pair of Ferrets named Nyhm & Noodle
and a pair of Chinchillas named Puddin' & Pops

When I'm feelin down or worried n missin my son, I seek comfort from my horses as well as this site!

My husband owns & operates a custom woodworking shop on our property, as well. He is an artist in his own right. I work with him in any capacity he needs, be it apprentice cabinetmaker, Office manager, website designer, advertising, etc...We make a great team, even though we are both stubborn Capricorns! We do butt heads on quite a few occasions, but boy does that keep the "Fire" alive and dancin! We have been married for 18 years, together for 24 total. Still feels like yesterday when I looked into his sea green eyes and fell deeply in love...Besides Joshua we have a beautiful 16 year old daughter named Megan. She is pretty much my clone, except that she is 5'-9" tall and has her dad's personality! Passionate about all she believes in, Megan is not one to stand in the background either.

We have a family motto: "We Blaze Our Own Trails"

I am here to support or represent my:
Child/Stepchild
Stage of (Sailor’s) Navy Career?
Enlisted
When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was proud and encouraged it
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
patience and letting go. My boy is now a young man and has a life of his own to live. We can only support him and hope for the best for him.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.
