Hi Amanda, thanks for dropping in with an update on your whereabouts. Was worried about you. Glad you can all be together. How is hubby doing? I know it's HOT in GL this time of year, hope you've got AC! Would love to meet you- and the newest member of the family- when you come in August, if you have time. I'm sure all your family will want to see you and get to hold that sweet baby!

Do try let me know ahead of time so I can clear space on my calendar and contact the other Navy Moms here. Also, post some pics on your page or the WA/Ore Group when you get a chance, would be fun to get a sneak peek and hear all about your little boy. :-) Congrats and God Bless!

Hi Amanda, haven't chatted in quite a bit. Just wanted you to know that we have set a Spokane Navy/Wives get together for this coming Sunday at the Red Robin in the Valley. We've said 2p.m previously, but it might get changed to 3pm. Let me know if you are interested in coming. Would love to meet you before the baby comes. :) Hope you are all doing well.

Stephen went to bootcamp May 13, 2008. He finished and started his schooling in GL on July 7, 2009. He is almost finished with his school in GL. From what he told me, even if he finishes....he will be on hold until October. I guess the navy ran out of money and they are putting the sailors on hold.

Good luck to you and your husband. I bet you can't wait to be with him!!

Hi Amanda, my son Stephen is almost finished with school in GL for FC. He completed A school and is finishing the second 1/2 of ATT. I just went to see him last weekend. They really keep them busy, especially if your husband is in mandatory study like my son has been. He has watch every four days and every 4th weekend. He has duty all the time (doing this an that around the base). He says he gets up at 5:00 am and doesn't get back to his ship until 7:00 pm. He also has trouble with a cell signal and with internet all the time. If I can help, or answer any questions...let me know.

Hey Amanda, I don't know what's going on with Ryan, but when you are ready to talk about it, if you have any questions, I'm here. I'll go accept your friend request so that you can private message me. Just know I'll be praying for you two. Things will all work out. :) Hope you can still go to GL as planned. Hang in there! ((hugs)) to you. btw: we stayed at the Navy Lodge too. If you're wondering about places to go and things to see, check out our PIR forum, there's lots of reviews and been there, done that advise. Be happy to give you some tips too. Let me know. Rest up and take good care of you and your little one.

Hi there Amanda, our hometown girl! I am a little late in greeting you my fellow Spokanite, my apologies. Just started a new PT job and have had a sick kid and hubby. I am so excited that you found us! Can't wait to meet you and that sweet baby boy to be! Will your hubby be putting in for paternity leave so he can be home for the birth? What is his PIR date? Will you be able to attend the gradation and stay for Liberty weekend in GL? They don't get to come home between BC and "A' school. What is his Rating (job) and where will he be headed? I was a BC mentor Mom for over 6 months and have been onsite for almost a year (know just enough to be dangerous! lol) so if you have ANY questions, please don't hesitate to ask! Let us know too if you and the baby need anything (rides to the doctor, pickles and ice cream, whatever) while he is gone. I left a comment on the Spokane Moms discussion too. Welcome aboard N4Ms! Take Care, keep in touch and God Bless! :-)

p.s, you might ask your friend Ashley to turn off her caps, that's considered the cyber equivelent of yelling! oops. I'm sure she didn't know We all learn from each other around here. :)
