About me:
My name is Amanda. I live in a small town in TN. I have recently become a Navy Girlfriend. My Corpsmen is currently in North Carolina. He deploys in December for Afghanistan. Me & Rusty have only been datin for half a year, but it feels like a lifetime. We met each other through injury back in our "glory days" in high school. He was the football player & I was the cheerleader. I know typical right? lol. Ever since we met there were sparks between us, but we never acted on them. So now 2 years later we decide to "rekindle an old flame". We started hangin out the second week he returned home. Which was the week of New Years'. We decided to make it official when the ball dropped. Probably along with over half the couples in Times Square too. lol. I've never been in a long distance relationship before, so this is a big challenge for me. We text each other everyday, and he calls me everynight. So that helps alot. But it still hurts that he cant be here to hold, hug, kiss and love on me. His family makes the time go by because they heal the hurt. From talkin about Cinderella, Belle, Sleapy Beauty and all the other princesses with his 5 year old sister, to talkin about cute boys with his 11 year old sister. From talkin about college football with his dad, to talkin & laughin & cryin with his mom. Not only am I falling in love with Rusty, I'm also falling in love with his family.

From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
You have to be PATIENT!! A characteristic I was lacking in very much but now have become almost a pro :)
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

amanda it was nice hearing from you! ok so rusty is a corpsman?? corey is one to :) is he in fmtb? i thought so bc corey is training with the marines in pendleton too although hes not going to the middle east but japan :( its funny how our guys have the same job and going way diffrent directions. im super excited for us both of us!! especially u because u havent seen ur bf in so long and ur finally going to be able to !!! so how long has been rusty been in the navy? and me and corey have been toghether for 33 months. but hey do u have a ceell fone number???... maybe that way we can keep more in touch? ok hope to hear from you soon ok!!

amanda... it has been ong since we talked!!!! but im glad that you and her boyfriend are doing good. im sorry for the bad news. there cant be anymore bad news than ur bf going to the middle east. so after he graduates at north carolina where is he stationed next? like his pds?? im sorry about december... do you know how long rusty is going to be in afghan for? so he graduates in 3weeks :) whens the last time u have seen him? so after s.c from here to december where is he going to be living at? what is rustys job again... i forgot??? sorryy for the million questions !!!!
me and corey have been doing good... hes in virginia rite now until august.. so in august he goes to camp pendleton which is an hr away from me until october so im happy buttt... after that hes japan bound :( so that sucks. but that dosent stop us which is good. im happy that i have someone that wont give up that easily. the next time im going to see my man is july 4th so its practically coming up quick so im soooo excitedd!!! im glad ur doing welll and cant wait to hear from you again!!

wow sorry i haven't written back in ages!! lol so how is everything? me and kacey are good. dealing with him being in cuba is way easier than i thought..but i still miss him ofcourse! did u ever find out where ur man is goin?

oh awesome!! im doin ok. its rough with kacey in cuba. he get to leave cuba in june..2010! lame. lol we are havin a little trouble but nothin big. lol

no exactly, because u have to be highly qualified and older to do an internship in the fashion industry. but they do get u a job that goes with our major while ur in school, but not exactly an internship. lol

lol yeah i have a friend thats a pro. he has a clothing company. its probly big here because it california..and cali is a good place to get famous for things like that. lol..no im a senior in HS. but in july i start fashion in LA. what about u?
