About me:
I am 52 and work as a CSR for a company that sells everything you can think of. I have 3 children, Jeremy (30), Valerie (29 - Navy) & Kelly (26). I also have 4 grandchildren and husband, David.
I am here to support or represent my:
Valerie
Stage of (Sailor’s) Navy Career?
Enlisted
When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was proud
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
I was nervous when Valerie actually joined. She was so young, just out of school. I'll never forget that first phone call home when she arrived in boot camp. She was so scared! But she made it and I know she would not be where she is today and experienced all that she has if it weren't for the Navy. She is farther than any of the old high school kids she grew up with.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
Our relationship has grown stronger, This was a maturing experience, The Navy has a lot to offer, This was the best decision he/she could have made

My name is Catherine the Admin and I want to thank you for joining us! To help you know the “Do’s and Don’ts” for the community- I wrote up a quick little ditty for you to read. So click here and read them (pretty please with a cherry on top because the rules are enforced)! If you have any questions, comments, or concerns afterwards- please don’t hesitate to contact me.
So, enjoy your time here and I'm looking forward (along with the community) to reading more about you. :D

Hi Barbara, Ryan (Valerie's son), my grandson is 7. Actually my daughter is trying one more round with his Dad, Stewart which is why they are in Alaska now. I'm not sure if it will work out, time will tell. Yes, Valerie has done very well in the Navy. She also received her Masters in Business last year all while holding a full time job, Navy Reserves & being a single Mom to Ryan. I'm extremely proud of her.

Congratulations on your daughter Kim. How old is she? Has she been in long?

Well, I may have to get my answers tomorrow. I heard of this site on TV and decided to check it out about 11 p.m. and now look what time it is!! I have to be up by 7 in the morning.

I look forward to your response tomorrow. Thanks for responding, it makes me feel more welcome!

Good night!

Dear Amy,
How are you doing? This Navy for moms is such a blessing!
That's my daughter Kim and me.. I must have either shrunk or was hunching over, I am taller then Kim by two inches!! WHOOPIE!! HAHA!!

Your daughter Valerie, really has done well in the Navy, God bless her.
She has two bears outside, that's a comforting thought!! UGH!!! I hope she didn't have to walk a dog!! HAAH!!! And I'm worried when I take my dogs out, if there's a raccoon around!! HAHA!!

I could imagine what strees the Military life must do on a marriage!! I'm so sorry to hear that Valerie's marriage didn't work out.
How old is her son?

I'm still new, my daughter Kim finished A School and is waiting to be stationed. She was trained to read the radar.
I hope to hear from you again.
Take care and God bless.
