Hey there!! Have you heard from Chase?? How are things going?? I hope they are good!
I got a call from Jason yesterday & a letter today. He is doing much better than his first letter, so it was a relief! It was great to hear his voice. He has been sick with a cough & cold & had his dental work, so he had two days sick in quarters & then a day of light duty. But he's hanging in there. He's ready to finish BC & get back to FL for A-school (me too!!). PIR is March 13th. He's worried that his division won't make it because he has a lot of guys that goof off!
I hope everything is alright with you. Talk soon!

How are you today Amy?? Is everything going alright?? I hope you're doing well & staying strong. Are you working today?? I've been thinking a lot about you & praying for you. I've been crying a lot today, don't know why. Still no letter, but hopefully next week. We aren't going out tonight, my husband is too sick, so we will stay in & watch a movie I guess. One son is working, the other at his girlfriends, so only one home. Too quiet!!

Great, I will read & see. Just having a date is great!! That would be neat if they did have the same date. Well, so far no letter. I was really hoping that I'd have one today, so I cried a little. But hopefully it will be soon & I will certainly share all the details with you!!! I know it's just been 2 weeks, but it feels like forever!!
How are you doing?? Yes, at least his teeth are paid for. I'm wondering about Jason's.
It's good that you're getting back to your photography studio. I'm sure it will help to make the time pass quicker & keep you occupied. I know when I have quiet time that's when I cry. So it's good to keep busy.
Yes, we have to pick a date & place to get together. I'd love it!
You should get you "box" probably Monday or Tuesday. Jason left on a Thursday & I got my box that Tuesday. Let me know.
Do you have any excited plans for the week-end?? We're suppose to go to dinner & then to a comedy club (never been before) with my husband's brother, but my husband has been sick with a bad cold. So we'll see.
Talk more soon! Take care & stay strong!
Love you!!

How are you doing today?? I've been thinking about you. Hope you're okay. I am now hoping to get a real letter from Jason soon! I feel better since getting the form letter with those couple of lines from him, but now I want more! (I'm never satisfied - LOL!!) Did I read that Chase has to get his wisdom teeth out?? Poor guy!! I don't know any of that about Jason, yet. I know he hates shots, so I bet he hated getting all those shots! I miss him soooo much. I saw his PIR date listed as March 13th, so we'll see. They skipped March 6th, so some of the other mom's think this might be wrong.
Hope you're doing alright. Take care of yourself!!

Hey Amy! I'm glad you're doing alright. Let me know how when you get that 30 second phone call. I will be praying for Chase & you. I know he will do great & that you are so proud.
I finally got the form letter yesterday on Jason's b-day!! I was so excited. Those few lines he scratched on the bottom made my heart feel soo much better. It felt like a weight had been lifted. He said he missed me & loved me, said to tell his girls friend he loved her & take care of her & to be strong. He would see us soon. He said to send stamps & another phone card. He mentioned graduation & then said to write ASAP!! So I sent my 3 letters I'd written this morning.
Thanks for the b-day wishes & all you love & support. Please know that I' here if you need anything.
I worked all day yesterday & then had cheer practice & two basketball games last night so I didn't even get on the computer last night!.
Talk soon! Hang in there!

So, you went with him to Knoxville (or where ever you have to go)? That is what I want to do. The first time that he went to MEPS, I didn't go. It was for his testing. He swore in then. I didn't realize that I could go. Someone told me that I could - so I am going when he goes to actually leave for GL.

Hi Amy. I was just viewing the leave dates. I see where Chase is to leave today. Does that mean that he went to MEPS yesterday, to leave for GL today? My son has a friend (that became one of my children) that leaves today for the GL. Maybe he and Chase will be in the same group. I went to see Cody, before he left. He made my heart sink. It made it really seem real, that Jeremy will actually be leaving me in less than a month. You'll have to let me know the little secrets that help you through this time. I'll be thinking about you. Be strong.
