Your are in my prayers. I don't know what else to say - know that I'm thinking of you all.
My son went in early as well - just talk to the recruiter as April said. He was lucky - his nuke job opened up a spot so he got to go.

- My son got his first car yesterday! He asked us to buy it for him up here as my husband is familiar with mechanics and stuff - it was delivered via carrier last night! He LOVES IT!!! I'm so proud of him!! I keep texting him asking him if he's gone out cruising - he said no. Finals next week. Oh well - once the pressure is off, he can have some fun!! Mom is doing a happy dance. And no, it isn't pretty! ;-)

We are lighting blue candles on Christmas day to remember our sons, daughters and spouses who will not be home for the holidays. Some of our children will be home but we wanted to make sure we remember the ones on duty and their families. Please RSVP as if your are attending because it counts. All you have to do is light a blue candle in your home on Christmas day and you will have participated. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

We have something for everyone here groups from boot camp moms to overseas moms and moms that like to scrap book. We have meet and greets to events that the moms set up to meet each other and have dinner or an outing. There are groups to help you with each and every step of this wonderful adventure that our children have chosen called the US Navy.
Please tell us about your sailor and what they have chosen to do in the navy and ohh yeah we LOVE pictures of everyone !!
