About me:
I was a single mother for 10 years and 4 years ago I met my husband and he had a son the same age as my son. They both wanted to be Navy Seals and have pursued their dream. It was so hard for me to let them go. I miss them terribly every day as our family is very close.
I am here to support or represent my:
Josh & Brandon
Stage of (Sailor’s) Navy Career?
Enlisted
When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was proud, Encouraged him/her
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
I have had to let go and let them pursue their dreams and become men.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
Our relationship has grown stronger, This was a maturing experience, This was the best decision he/she could have made

You asked about the old group... it was deleted. Now, if you go to my page, I only have one group listed... that's our group now; we try to be very non-specific and avoid using keywords etc... hoping to stay non-Googleable as long as possible!!! =)

So, enjoy your time here and I'm looking forward (along with the community) to reading more about you. :D

Dear Amy Taylor,

I am new to this SEAL group and see that you are also. I can't believe that you have 2 boys in pre BUDS! I have a son who is a SEAL. At Great Lakes he made another candidate, with whom he became friends and they went through all of it together and are both SEALS and are actively deployed now so it is possible to do it in pairs. It is tough, but possible. Anyway, just thought I'd welcome you as I was welcomed, and share that with you.
