About me:
I'm a mom, a wife, a friend, a personal assistant, a photographer and a creative genius :)

I believe in giving of my time and talent and have devoted this year to developing my heartwork. I am the Jacksonville Regional Coordinator for the Operation: Love Reunited organization. It's an awesome program for professional photographers that give at their own expenses, a photo session and an album sent over seas to the deployed soldier. We also provided one on one coverage for military families upon their loved ones homecoming...check them at www.oplove.org

When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was proud and encouraged it
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
The only thing that stays the same in the Navy is nothing!
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.
Hi - I just wanted to let my "friends" know I'll be way for a while - I am crazy busy swamped with charity shoots and then vacation on Sunday 4/5.

I hope all is well and I'll see you soon.

all 9 blood tests came back yesterday....and...they all showed a negative for Hep C! He's supposedly moving on next week to Pre-BUDs!!!

PS. I'm so glad we trust and believe in God. Worry and stress over this could really hurt a person!

Hey Amy! Great news, Johnathan just went to the doc yesterday and they said they believe the tests are wrong! So I guess they're just going to try to figure it out so he can move on.

How's Chase? And how was your vacation?

Hi there,
First of all 'LOVE the pics of your PIR experience...your son is certainly a handsome sailor. My daughter passed BS last Friday, so we are anxiously awaiting PIR this week. I just wondered, do you know anything about the 'Spaghetti Factory' in downtown Chicago? My daughter mentioned wanting to go there Friday night and I cringed at the thought. I hate to say 'no' to the only thing she has actually requested to do though. Any guidance about driving/parking in Chicago (shudder) will be appreciated. Thanks, and again, congrats!!

Just getting around to reading comments. I don't know how to get email for just my comments here, I turned it off so I did not get emails for every comment from every group I'm in. Would still love that photo of the guys lined up at graduation, and is there a place to see all yours?

Cal has called a lot. ( not that I"m complaining, its just new to me) We will add more minutes to our plan until he gets his own plan and phone.Seems to be lacking things to do.... says he is out of the habit of reading and can only read for two hours at a time before his eyes are fatigued. He will get eye surgery before SWCC classes start, so will 3 or 4 others. ( PKT?) He is asking if he can have it here at Ft Sam Houston near here so he can stay home to recuperate instead of in a dorm alone for 2 weeks.
