Aaaah! I'm so excited for Billy and so glad he will be close by! How wonderful for both of you!

Gabe got an award in his ATT class for having the highest GPA! Then, he had a skydiving accident...last weekend there was an equipment failure. He got it straightened out but landed hard and sprained his ankle, his knee and broke blood vessules in the back of his knee. He is in a brace now and is on limited duty for the next couple of weeks. I think he's keeping up with his classes. He really doesn't want to be set back because he has to be there for the summer anyway. Otherwise he is doing really well. He does perform with the choir and has had several solos. He has talked about switching his rating to musician, but he really isn't sure if he wants to do that or even if it is possible.

We are in temporary housing right now. Ray (my hubby) is already in Huntsville with all of our stuff living in our rental house. The kids and I are staying here until Nathanael finishes with his college classes. We will be heading out on May 17 for our new home!! We are all so excited. Ray loves the Huntsville area already. We can't wait to join him there.

So, graduation is approaching for Billy! When is your semester over? I hope you are well, safe and happy!!

Hi Andrea! I've been off N4M for a while. We've been moving into temporary housing. My husband got a job in Huntsville, AL, so we'll be moving near your neck of the woods in mid-May! We are very excited about it. Ray is already in Huntsville, but the kids and I are staying here until Nathanael finishes his college classes.

Speaking of Nathanael, we just got word that he was accepted for the Naval Academy Summer Seminar!! Yay! I hope it will be a step toward having him attend there after his senior year.

Gabe has taken up sky diving. You can see some photos of him jumping on my page if you are interested. Also, he has a video on YouTube. He finally classed up today for ATT. He was on ship staff before that, but only for a little while because classes started. Gabe is enjoying the choir as well.

So, how is Billy doing? Is he almost finished with school? Does he have orders yet? How is school going for you? I was thinking about you last week. Did your Habitat project go well over spring break? Well, I don't want to overwhelm you. Hope to hear from you soon!!

that sounds good. so i guess you dont even know how long you should stay for. i dont want to make an unecessary trip up there with an infant...cant be easy lol

He did get to come home for the birth but it pushed his classes back a week so he now takes test two this upcoming week, but he got a 96 on the first so im very proud. Are you planning on moving up to Jacksonville? When did he get his orders and how soon after grad does he get to leave? Im wondering whether or not to go up there in June for his grad..depending on how soon he gets to leave for his next duty station I might just wait. I think my husband wants to try and get Cali for a perm duty station if he does FMTB..guess he's heard good things.

No he doesnt have orders but I believe his grad date is June 12th so Im sure it will probably be a while. What about yours? He's going to try and get Jacksonville right?

Hi Andrea.. Jerm also seems to like what they are doing right now. They keep changing grad times, back to original date now. So I don't think I will go and he is coming home before he goes overseas. He still is not sure how much time he gets if any. But I have a niece just out of the Army and when they go overseas they get to come home for a short visit. He will be there for 2 years. But they also get more pay, so he is hoping to save a little. Lol, he has a hard time with that one!!! Are you going for grad ???

Hey Andrea.. so glad Billy is going where he wanted to. I know it did not work that way for some of the guys. I bet you are really excited to be near him again. Hope labs and clinicals are going well for him. Jerm is suppose to have about a week when he leaves, but that is because he is going to Italy. Dont know about when they go to a duty station!!!
