Angela, thanks so much for the info on a personal level about what she might what during her liberty. I didn't think of half of those things you suggested.
Thanks again,
sherriliz

My husband is coming home this Friday! I can't wait! We should get all the Utah Navy "Mom's" (and maybe a few wives too!) together for a BBQ. My husband has been gone for almost 10 months. It's been so hard on the kids.

What is your son's rate? My husband is a Corpsman. Talk to you soon! Catherine

Dear Mom Angela from UT:
Hello & Welcome to N4M’s!
My name is Catherine the Admin and I want to thank you for joining us! To help you know the “Do’s and Don’ts” for the community- I wrote up a quick little ditty for you to read. So click here and read them (pretty please with a cherry on top because the rules are enforced)! If you have any questions, comments, or concerns afterwards- please don’t hesitate to contact me.
So, enjoy your time here and I'm looking forward (along with the community) to reading more about you. :D
Sincerely, Catherine

Profile Information

About me:
I'm a proud mother of US Navy submariner! My son first informed us of his desire to join the fleet at 14. Appearently it wasn't just a "phase" and it became the driving force in his life. I miss my son but realized at the bc graduation that he was in good hands and couldn't be happier for him or more proud of his dedication.
I am here to support or represent my:

Stage of (Sailor’s) Navy Career?
Enlisted
When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was proud and encouraged it
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
Patience. I learned that stalking the mailman does NOT make letters from bootcamp magically appear. I learned to savor every phone call and not waste time talking about what the dog did the other day. I learned that the boy I raised has become the man I always hoped he would be. I learned what the word "Proud" really means.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.
