When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was proud and encouraged it
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:

Hi Anita, welcome to Navy for Mom's:)) You will find a lot of answers, support and encouragement here. My daughter, Ashley (20), has been in the Navy for 2 years and is an IT3 & my son Tim (19) has been in since Feb 2008 stationed on the USS Nimitz. What is your son doing with the Navy? If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. I'm glad you joined and look forward to hearing more about you & your Sailor. Pat

Welcome to Navy for Moms. My sailor is currently waiting for final orders to go to Hawaii. He is a sonar tech aboard a submarine. He's been in for a year now and I'm excited that he gets to go to Hawaii! You'll find a wealth of information here on this site. Along with Friendship, Support, Determination, Inspiration and good conversation! Have a Wonderful 4th of July and lets not forget why we celebrate it and how we preserve it! GO NAVY
