Hello & Welcome to N4M’s!
My name is Catherine the Admin and I want to thank you for joining us! To help you know the “Do’s and Don’ts” for the community- I wrote up a quick little ditty for you to read. So click here and read them (pretty please with a cherry on top because the rules are enforced)! If you have any questions, comments, or concerns afterwards- please don’t hesitate to contact me.
So, enjoy your time here and I'm looking forward (along with the community) to reading more about you. :D
Sincerely, Catherine

Hi Anna! My son and I were that same way. My husband works nights, so it has been real hard going home at night and Chad not being there. He is also the youngest and my daughter is married, so I feel like I have no one at this point. I am trying to get into doing some painting in the house to keep my mind off of him being gone. Like you I would love to hear his voice and him tell me that he is okay. I know now that I have someone that I can talk to when I feel lonely. Thanks for being there for me and I hope to help you also.

My youngest son has always been one of my best buddies. When he left for Boot Camp on 2/14/07, I was devastated. Not hearing from him was one of the hardest parts of his being gone, but it was his dream to join the Navy. His ship just sailed a few Mondays ago, and he is enjoying using the skills he learned at his schools. Seeing various parts parts of the world appeals to him, also. His fiancee and I comfort each other in his absence.
