When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was proud and encouraged it
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
Let him grow and be a man!
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

Hey Anna! Thanks for the update! I LOVED the videos you have on your page. Particularly, the "floss boss". I am a dental hygienist. I took the Tiger cruise on the USS Ronald Reagan in October so now when I see these videos and pics it brings back some wonderful memories and I realize just how much I learned on that cruise!
So glad you got to see Andrew! I won't see mine until New Year's this year. I'm not complaining though. They have both been home the last 2 years for Christmas. My Norfolk sailor will be moving to the west coast by spring so he will be sharing the same pier as his brother's ship. They are excited. Mom.... well, she is too I guess to see them together, but soooo far away now with both of them. Don't know what I will do if they both deploy at the same time! I guess I will cross that bridge when it comes!
Hope hubby and your daughter are both doing well! Have a blessed holiday season and keep in touch!!!!!!

Hi Anna, so glad your dad is getting better. I looked for you on the ship but did not see you. Yes, a long day but so awesome! Jason emailed me tonight and said he is all swollen and still in pain. He is eating soft foods. He needs more pain killers as the weekend is coming up and he doesn't have a recheck until Tues. He's been SIQ for 3 days. His arms are better thank goodness. Ahhh vacations are nice, hope you enjoyed yours.

Hi Anna
Wondering if things are ok? I know you had a sick family member. Didn't see you on the HST for F & F. Haven't heard from you. Just concerned.

Oh that's so great you got to met my son! Where was I? Ummmm..... I must have been on the bleachers waiting for him to come back showing his dad his berthing area. He said I couldnt go; I was a female and I wasnt allowed. It was a long FFD but it was fun. My thighs havent had that much work out in a long time; up and down those ladders then over the knee knockers and under a huge pipe to cross into a room! OMG! I was sore for a few days but realized I needed to walk more. LOL Anyway..... Im glad you went and seen your son too! I feel more comfortable knowing how they live now. He's ok and working hard. How is your son doing?

Dear Anna,
Thank you for that video. I have seen that before and told Kim about it before she left for Boot Camp. I told her, in case someone does the sign or Thanks her, she'll know why.

Do you know, I have approached soldiers/sailors in uniform several times and just came out with "Thank You".

Once a few years back, two young girls, I'm not sure from which branch, they were in dress uniform. They were having dinner, and I just went up to them.

How are you doing? How has the heat been for you? If there's no breeze, I keel over, I can not tolerate heat! UGH!
I keep asking, "Is it Fall yet?" HAHA!!

Let me get going. Thank you again for the video.
Take care and God bless.
Your friend,
Barbara
