About me:
I am Adam's wife! I am so proud of him for all of his accomplishments, but I am also proud of him in his decision to do this for our family. I miss my husband VERY much, but I try to stay positive and remember why he's doing this. This is so hard, but hopefully I'll find a way in the next 6 years to tolerate it.
I am here to support or represent my:

A Little About Our Family...

Hello There!

Thanks for stopping by. I recently found this website and already I am so glad that I did!

My husband is in boot camp right now and will graduate on 10/17/08. He'll stay at Great Lakes and attend A School to become a Medical Corpsman (HM). We hope that if he is not chosen for OCS at that time that he will be selected for a C School to become a Psych Tech.

My name is Ashley-Renée, but most people find that is way too long, so "A-R" will suffice. My husband is AMAZING! His name is Adam and he is the love of my life! We have been married for three years and this separation has been anything but easy.

We met in college, Adam was captain of the Cross Country and Track teams and I was on the Varsity Tennis Team and a Cheerleader. Now Adam has his B.S. in Psychology and my B.S. is in Public Health and Political Science. Hopefully Adam will be "picked up" as an Officer soon where he can use his education and fulfill his potential! Since he is in boot camp, he refers to himself as the "Old Man that Smokes the Young Guys on PT Tests"! I'm sure that sad story is a true one, ha-ha!

I would love to meet some new friends that I can support when they are in need and visa versa. This is a tough time, and from what I understand there are many more to come in the next six years. I appreciate advice, and even constructive criticism when I need it. I would love to help anyone out there who needs someone to talk to or a virtual shoulder to cry on.

Adam and I would normally reside in Ohio with our Westie "Baxter". Who knows where the Navy will take us?

--A-R.

Here are some websites for you:
www.housing.navy.mil/onestop-this one is for base housing you can't request anything but you can look at some of the houses and floor plans for the base you going too.

/www.smartwebmove.navsup.navy.mil/swm/-this one is to set up the movers. You can do it but it might be easier for Adam to.

Dear Ashley,
How are you doing? This Navy for moms is such a blessing!
How are you hanging in there? I know it's hard with a military marriage. But Adam does have a great future ahead of him.

I see graduation is closing in now. Are you going to the graduation?
If you are, I enjoy sharing some handy little tidbit information on that.
I hope to hear from you again.
Take care and God bless.
