He's In!

Well,

Chris officially swore in on Tuesday. He is a little disappointed that he has to wait an entire year to go in, he already feels old (23),and he will now be another year older. So many things can change in a person's life in a year. I know he has marriage on his mind, and many other things.

But we'll take it as a blessing and hope this year goes by quickly.

Could the Navy still reject him if he got married or had a baby in this coming year???

When Are They Official?

If my son ends up in a DEP, is he being paid by the Navy at that time, or not until he is in Bootcamp?
Or do all sailors go through some sort of DEP?

Hey I just read your page ---- I had a friend who worked for the UN as a sign language interpreter. I always thought would be such an interesting profession !!!

Ohh thank you ---- that Arlington trip wow was rough. Its so amazing to just stand in the spot where so many many hero's are buried.
As for adopting sailors ---- Just follow me to this place and say hello !! We are just about to announce our next bunch Aug 1st. We adopt a different group each month ---its such fun. And I promise beyond promise this room is full of great people (no drama, no argues-just love for all the troops)

I'm proud of you! Your page looks awesome. LOVE your songs. The sparkly graphics work basically the same way as the music player. Once you find the graphic you want, copy and past the code in the text box either above or below the area where you have the code for the music player. I leave space between so I can tell which code is which.

sounds like a plan. If you click on the Navy Mom graphic on my page, it will bring you to the website where I got the code, you can get it and then copy and paste it to your page.

It's kind of awkward describing it on line, but I think your getting it. i probably would have been easier to talk you through it over the phone, LOL

Congrats on becoming a Navy Mom. It's quite the journey.

I have a sailor who has been in for about a year and a half and I am about to send my middle son into the Marine Corps. I might be going through the boot camp experience again about the same time as you.

When does your son ship out?
