Military Girl!

*A MILITARY GIRL*

You don't know, but I'm the girl who cries every morning, and hopes every night for his safe return. I'm the girl who drags herself out of bed every morning so that he will be proud of her when he comes home. I'm the girl who lies in bed longing for him to be lying next to me. I'm the girl who sits quietly at work because all I can think about is that next moment when he will safely be in my arms again. You don't know, but I'm the girl with a million things to say, but not one… Continue

Aw i'm sorry darlin! When I come back we will definetly hang out! Where is your hubby goin?
Ok, a few suggestions: the boardwalk at the beach in virginia beach has tons and tons to do. clubs, bars, tons of restuarants and shopping! the aquarium is cool. the zoo is cool. the state parks out here are pretty. i take my dogs for long walks and they love it, too. oh and speaking of the boardwalk, they have a huge christmas light show on the beach. for $10 a car, you can actually drive on the boardwalk and see the lights. and your in norfolk so i'm sure you've seen the nauticus. that's cool, too. and i don't know if your into broadway plays or anything like that but they always have some really cool ones out here. the rockettes, legally blonde and wicked will be here in march! :) i hope that gives you a few suggestions! :)

I heard Park Cresent rocks! We live in Virginia Beach, Pembroke Lake Apt. We hate our apartments and can't wait to leave! lol. My husband just found out yesterday that he is going on deployment in January so we are going to get out of our lease here and I'm going to move back to Chicago while he's on deployment. We only looked at few places before we moved here and settled with this one. But now that I know the area, I'll really look into places before I settle. How long have you been out here for? Have you done anything exciting? I can suggest some fun things if you guys are bored. :)

Hi! My hubby's at Little Creek right now for A school. He'll be at NAS probably around February sometime. He's a trumpet player and will be with the band there. The nice thing is that we won't have to move our stuff when he moves over to Norfolk, because we live close enough right now. We've been in Virginia for about a month now. Congrats on your apartment, and good luck unpacking!

P-cola! My hubs was there for 8 months for school (on hold for 6). I visited quite a few times and stayed at the hilton on the beach. Always a good time. I'm from Chicago so seeing palm trees was awesome! lol. The VA Beach area is nice. That's where we live. It has a tooooooon of stuff do to. Becareful with parts of Norfolk because it's really sketchy with shootings. I don't know the area much, but I've been here since the end of June and I'm unemployed so if you have any questions I can try to help you out. Hope your move goes good! :)
