When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was proud and encouraged it
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
That my son is okay. He can take care of himself & if he needs any help there is always someone willing to help him. And he knows that we are only a phone call away if he needs anything.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

They will be coming back thru here next week on their way back to Lemoore. I go back to work Monday, another school year. Where did you see the picture? Nice hearing from you. Irma

Hi Barb, welcome to VFA 22. My son Michael is an AT2. He is the night check out supervisor. He just got transfered to Lemoore and this is his second tour on the RR. He was in Oceana for 8 years prior to this. I will give you his name and maybe your son can look him up, AT2 Michael Salinas. Keep me posted if he finds him.
Take care

Hi Barb, welcome to Navy for Mom's:)) You will find a lot of answers, support and encouragement here. My daughter, Ashley (20), has been in the Navy since July 2007 and is an IT3 & my son Tim (19) has been in since Feb 2008 stationed on the USS Nimitz.. What is your son doing with the Navy?
