Enlisted
When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was concerned or afraid, Was proud
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
It is hard to find out information about where your sailor is or what they are doing. Lots of rules but no one gives you a handbook!

Well, isn't this all a coincidence? I'm in Bothell! The rank would be E3, his rate would be his job. My son is an AE2, aviation electrician petty officer 2nd class. They start out at SR, sailor recruit; SN, Seaman, or AN Airman; Petty Officer 3rd, 2nd, 1st; Chief... I'm going to send you a friend request so you can email me privately if you like.

Wow, I'm beginning to think my name isn't quite as obscure as I thought! Welcome, I think I'm going to have to adjust my name to Barbara (Derek's Mom). My younger son served on a frigate for almost 2 years and the communication is tough. My older son is on a carrier and has access to a computer daily. Congratulations on raising a fine young man! What is his rate?

Hello & Welcome to N4M’s!
My name is Catherine the Admin and I want to thank you for joining us! To help you know the “Do’s and Don’ts” for the community- I wrote up a quick little ditty for you to read. So click here and read them (pretty please with a cherry on top because the rules are enforced)! If you have any questions, comments, or concerns afterwards- please don’t hesitate to contact me.
So, enjoy your time here and I'm looking forward (along with the community) to reading more about you. :D
Sincerely, Catherine

I love your pics!
I cant imagine going 2 months without hearing from my son. He just finished his A-School in Pensacola. He was home for 10 days and then headed to Oceana VA. I know one day it will be my time to be waiting for some news, any news.
