Sorry I should have read your page first....your shipment will be going to an FPO-(guessing she is still on a ship)? The boxes are free for priortity shipments at the PO, and it is cheaper to mail packages to any military address 11.95 vs 13.95.

Care Package to where? No care packages are allowed at BC, you may send care packages to a base. If you are sending to a ship, not a problem, it does take longer to get to a ship. Overseas shipments, lately for me, packages to Iraq are taking about…

Profile Information

About me:
I am 47 years old. I have 2 wonderful girls. Samantha is 21 and in school. Nikki is 18 and is in the Navy. Right now I am unemployed and struggling. Nikki was sworn in to the Navy easter Monday and left for bootcamp June 30th. She came home Thanksgiving for 15 days and left Dec. 12th for San Diego to begin her journey. I am scared to death. I am so glad I found this site in Woman's Day magazine. Thank you so much for all the support. I hope I can return the favor. :)
I am here to support or represent my:
Terri but we call her Nikki!
Stage of (Sailor’s) Navy Career?
Enlisted
When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was concerned or afraid, Was confused, Needed to learn more about it, Was proud, Was relieved, Encouraged him/her
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
You need to support your children and help them make the best decicion for themselves.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
Our relationship has grown stronger, This was a maturing experience, The Navy has a lot to offer

They pulled out this morning, I can tell you that I have a number of friends serving aboard BHR, I know their Ombudsman very well and can tell you she is in AMAZING hands. Capt. Funk is all about his sailors and their families and the support for them as a whole. Every Sailor is dedicated to Command Mission and Capt. Funk is dedicated to bringing our sailors home safe.
Rest easy Mom, she is in good care. GOD BLESS!!!!
