Was proud
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
the navy has their own way of doing things and you learn to accept it
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
Our relationship has grown stronger, This was a maturing experience, The Navy has a lot to offer, This was the best decision he/she could have made

Dear Barbara,
How have you been stranger!
I hope your Christmas was wonderful. Our temperatures have been pretty nice, in the 30's. Last week, one morning, the windchill was 5 below. I warned my son how cold it was, and he only wore his sweat shirt jacket. I told him, so freeze!! HAHA!!

My daughter Kim coludn't be home either. This was our first missed Christmas. She did surprise me and called on my birthday, and sang Happy Birthday to me. It's Christmas Eve, my birthday.

I called her yesterday, I am so thankful she had four friends to be with on Christmas.

I lit my blue candle for the remembrance of the Sailors who couldn't be home and I said a prayer for our troops to return home. Enough already, it's time to return!

My husband surprised me with the 5 seasons of the old TV show "Quartum Leap", I loved that show. I watched the first season last night!! HAHA!

I'm happy for you that you at least heard from David. I know a few moms that haven't heard from their children in a couple of years.

I'll let you get going. Please stay in touch.
Also, Happy New Year...since that's around the courner!! HAHA!!
Take care and God bless. you and your family.

Dear Barbara V,
This is Barbara G...HAha!! How are you doing tonight? This NAvy for moms is such a blessing.
I'm on this four months and I'm still learning myself!! HAHA!!

So David is going out to sea.
My daughter Kim, I know she's going to be on a ship, she was trained to read the radar.
Kim finished A School and is waiting for her orders to be stationed.
I also have a son named David. I love that name, it means Beloved.
I hope to hear from you again.
Take care and God bless.

Where is David now in the Navy?

I'm still new, my daughter Kim finished A School and is waiting for her new orders where she'll be stationed. I know she'll be on a ship. She was trained to read the radar.
I hope to hear from you again.
Take care and God bless.
