Hi . I have never written a blog before so this is all new.I am a mom of 5 . I have been a mom for 30 years. This has consumed my life. I have worked sometimes 2 and 3 jobs to take care of my kids.I am not complaining mind you , it has been fun and rewarding, hard and scary, dirty, tiring and the most wondrful thing in the world . My oldest was born with a very rare heart defect, and his father could not deal with that so he left. 4 years later my daughter was born. I married her father 6 mths a… Continue

My son just moved over to engineering # 634. He said they're not allowed to leave for the next two weekends. Anyone know why?

Becky, my computer runs pretty slow and though I have a scanner, it takes forever to download to the group.
I remember you said you had lots of books with facts and possibly pictures. If you find anything you'd like to post on the Navy History group, I know it would add a lot to the group. Maybe something connected with your daughter?
I see where she got married. Congratulations! :-)

Becky, just to let you know, I can't go tonight to BSMs. We need to go see my MIL. She broke her hip while we were on vacation. She is doing fine, but this is a good time to go see her. If you go tonight, let me know what's going on. I hope to make the meet and greet next week. Hope you are having fun!!

Hi Becky,
Congrats on the marriage, and the dress looks beautiful! My son is in school, in San diego. He'll finish on the 24th,then come home for leave for 21/2 weeks. Then, he reports to his ship, the USS Cape St. George, a cruiser, in SD. I will be flying to see him frequently, too, as he's kust a 11/2 hr flight away! When is the wedding date?

Hi Becky , how are you ? I got a question you might be able to answer. My daughter is going to A school right now. She is going going to be a GSE. Molly said you have a daughter who is a GSE also. Do you know how long their deployments on the ships are? And how are the working hours? Somebody told her at least 18hrs. a day. Every day.Right now she is scared what might happen to her once she is a GSE. There are so much rumors. Thank you for your time. Karin

Becky, I have a kitchen table, 6 chairs, open hutch if a Navy family @ Camp Pendelton is still in need. Its wood and in good shape. One of the 6 chairs has a paint stain on it (thanks to my Sailor) but can be easily fixed. I'm in Mission Viejo - about 20 miles north of Pendelton.
