It's going to be so nice to have him home for part of the holiday season! Awesome! Sorry it took me so long to respond, my mom passed out in her kitchen yesterday morning early and I spend all day at Frye with her. She was given a battery of tests with no conclusive results and released today. Something with her heart and stress but not sure just what is happening. Chris got another cell when he got to Korea. I'm not real sure how it works but he was given a local number (as in our area code). When he roams it comes up as an international number or maybe it's when he uses Skype through his phone that it comes up local. Adam can get with him at some time after the first. Just remind him there is now a 14 hour difference. Once you have Skype installed on your home computer, I can give you Chris' Skype number and Adam can call him for free. So go ahead and install it soon on the home then Adam will have your Skype account when he gets his computer, and can call you right away.
It would be really great if next year Adam and Chris could get leave at the same time and get together again. Chris plans right now (of course things change) to come home again later in the year.

He will almost surely have a sponsor who will meet him at the airport and bring him on base. That person will also be responsible for answering questions he has about his command, his boarding, food, where to exchange money, etc. They may be able to help him get a box number within the first couple of days and help him find a place to buy a cell phone or get his internet set up etc. Do try to have Skype put on a computer at home and also a computer there and try to have a webcam on each. On Christmas day you can at least see each other and talk to each other that way. Enjoy your time with him. Has he said if he is going to work at the office any while he is home? He can get part of his leave time back later if he does that.

- Becky has your sailor heard about the K9 training yet? I heard he might make it home for a couple of weeks soon. I know you will be happy to see him again and so will Racheal. Chris is going to try to make it home sometime in Feb. This is about the 4th set of dates he has given me so we will see. Getting his Christmas stuff together now to ship in less than two weeks. Have a great day!
