I am here to support my little brother. I believe this is the right choice for him at the time. Alex and I have lost both our parents in the last five years, so I feel its crucial that I be his support system through his Navy career. He just recently got sent to GL for his basic training, so it's tough to believe he's actually gone.

Hi Big Sis !

We have been able to talk to tyler about everyday ... he seems to be enjoying Florida alot!
We are hoping he gets to come home to visit around christmas or the 1st of the year also , but he said they won't know until it gets closer to that day. They have been keeping them busy with different classes during the day .
I hope your brother is doing good :0)

If you click on Groups and go to the 11/06/09 graduation date there is an (Amanda-Alek's Mom) who is arranging a meet and greet on Thursday evening 11/05/09 at 7:00 pm at Flanagan's. Everyone pays there own, but she does need a count of how many are coming along with your name etc. Check it out and sign up if you would like. We are planning on going. Big Sis, we have reservations for the Nov 6th graduation at the Residence Inn. We called about 2 weeks back and got the last room available. My husband thought I was nuts calling this early. Thank goodness we did. Still haven't heard anything from our Son other than his call that he was there and about 5 lines written at the bottom of the informational letter we received from the Navy. Hope I hear something more soon. - Becky-
