- Bonita, this is my first homecoming as well, and like you i will also arrive late in the day, Rhonda is a good informant on matters such as these..i normally find out a lot of info by catching the n4ms everyday,,I understand we have to have a pass to get on base that morning, and i am not surre how i will get one, i hope info keeps coming out as we get closer on. sorry, i could not help you any more than that, but i am glad your husband is going with your son, my husband and son will be joining our son as well, and i will bring up the rear! have a good day and if you find out anything let me know and i will you as well!!!

It's kind of a 'low man on the totem-pole' type thing . . . generally they have to work in the mess hall (throw back to 'peeling potatoes') or doing menial janitorial duties . . . another 'hoop' for them to jump thru to prove they're capable of doing what they're told:)! Depending on the how many and where they may be will determine how long they will have 'cranking' duties:)!
