Profile Information

About me:
I am a believer in Jesus Christ and looking forward to the Rapture. I have been married for 25 years. We have 2 boys, Jason, age 32 & Jesse, age 25. Our daughter Melissasue has joined the Navy & leaves for Boot Camp Oct 1st. We have 3 grandchildren. Brooke & Tyler which are twins, 5 years old, & Jayden which is 2. My husband is retired & I work in Louisville KY, a round trip of 100 miles from where we live. Ouch! We also have 4 doggies. 2 dachshunds, Viener 7 & Ginger 7 months, 1 Min Pin, Penny 8 years & a
Shizu, Lucy who is 8 months old. Pile them all together and they still don’t add up to a Golden Retriever. Other than when Melissa went to Cincinnati for a semester (which I cried a lot
and she was only 2 hours away) we have never been apart more than two weeks at a time. So this is going to be tough on me.
I am here to support or represent my:

Encouraged him/her
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
As I have just begun this journey, I have been on-line reading what to expect in Boot Camp. I found a week by week breakdown so I would have an idea of what Melissa will be going through. Also have been watching a 10 hour PBS documentary on-line called "Carrier", which has enlightened me.

Bonnie, I tried to send you pictures to the address you provided to me however, they came back. I do have these pictures posted on my page, please feel free to look... please reconfirm your email address if your daughter is in the photos & I will be more than happy to resend them to you. If you could please let the other parents in your group know I have these photos on my page & if ANYONE wants me to e-mail these to them... I will be more than happy as I have made a promise to the future sailors that I would try to let you all know. Take care- Lynne

Hi Bonnie. LOL I don't think we have antlers. I'll have a Albion FD sweatshirt on and I'm 6'4. My wife is 5'3 so we stand out sometimes. LOL I'm glad Jessie has made friends. I don't know if they know Judy's daughter or not. What was Judy talking about on ship 06 graduating on time. All of our conversations have been great with Jess. Take care.

Hi Bonnie. Just got a letter from Jessie. She and your daughter talk all the time. Again, a very positive letter. Won't be long and we'll get to see our girls. Take care.

Your daughter will graduate the week before mine. Katie is in div 903 ship 06 PIR 12/5 and will stay at GL for DC A school training. Because her division is part of the 'triple threat', from what I understand, she will be performing at your daughter's graduation. Where will she go for A school and what is she doing?
