Would it be a problem if I sent mine out now? I am not coming back until the 17th. I DO plan on using flat rate boxes, but I would feel Horrible if they were late.
OK, now I just feel silly...but its par for the course. I am finishing up Christmas cards for each of the stockings that I am sending & I had some help from a local Girl Scout Troup. So that will be 46 cards & I can work on more from my daughter's...

I am so excited-I found great Christmas Stockings at Dollar Tree today-they weren't on display, but I asked anyway & they went in the back to get them for me.

As I am a latecomer to the group, I am "guestamating" between 25-30 stockings from myself & donations, more if my friend's Girl Scout Troop comes through. I'll package them up & check with ya'll to see where they are needed before mailing them off.
Temporary group to coordinate our efforts to bring Holiday Cheer to the crew of the USS Nimitz Carrier Strike Group. Ships included in the CSG are: USS Nimitz including 8 air wings, USS Sampson, USS CHOSIN, USS Pinckney, & the USS Rentz.

Just set free from ICU & given the all-clear from a cardiac cath. Waiting to hear from my Nimitz son. Able to check up on my Army son on My Space (LOL)

What am i doing up at 4:30am well thinking too much about my boy and just cant cut it out hahahaha. Hes still in Norfolk but has a torn ligament and a pregnant wife and im worried about both. She's always ailing and he's in pain cause of that crazy leg injury from the cycle accident and darn it he will not give up that bike. I swear Brenda i hate that bike. He couldve been killed in that last accident. So as you can see im not sleeping cause i cant stop worrying uuuuggg.
How are you though, its been a rough week for you and how are you holding up. Also want to know how all your boys are doing wow 3 in the military wow. Hope my buddy is ok heres a big Navy Mom Hug and God Bless;)

I am going to ask Molly, she knows everyone!! I am getting ready to star a countdown, Sam will be bringing his unit home mid august! How are you?? - Hey Brenda look at all ur friends wow!!! Just wondering how ur doing;) My son Eric (my sailor) is recovering from a motorcycle accident in Norfolk. We are concerned about his ability to do his job but we will see. My other baby, Tyler17, is in Costa Rica on a trip with spanish club. Man was i nervous but we rented a "global cell phone" which works in other countries. Most cell phones dont work on the same network that other countries work on so none of the other kids (8 total) cell phones work but Tylers has great reception. At first it didnt. Turned out there was a fuzz ball in the sim card compartment of the phone. Once that was removed the phone worked great and i was relieved uuugggg.VERIZONS GLOBAL CUSTOMER SERVICE ROCKS!! Customer service rep called the hotel 6 times in order to try to trouble shoot tylers cell phone issue. So that was great;) They arrived in Costa Rica at 12on Monday and so far hes having the time of his life and loved flying for the first time in hs life. Was really scared of the trip idea but now im feeling better about it. We talk for 5 minutes each nite and thats so comforting to us lol. Do u know anything about Costa Rica??

I sent him a new phone, his broke the day they came back from sea trials.
He finally got it on Thursday and it isn't working great so off it goes back to
AT & T......now could be another 3 weeks :(
He flew home on Friday and we got him just a cheap after market type to hold him over for now. He flies back tonight and I'm soooooo sad about it. Knowing I won't see him for so long isn't sitting well with me. How are you?
We're going to reach 107 today....tooo hot. I'd prefer to live along the coast.

Still no boxes for my son, he just found out yesterday the mail room on the ship was closed all week, so hopefully Monday.

- Aw thank you for that;) That was a tough time and what led me to Navy for Moms and i'm so glad i did it. I feel so much better. Nice to meet so many people just like us and to make the new people feel welcomed. I'm still new just started in March and am not always on but try to get on as much as i can. Was diagnosed with Lupus and have some good days and bad so on my good days i try to stay on as much as i can cause who knows when i'm going to have another one lol. So glad to get to know you and please keep in touch;)
