Brenna,

Hi ...I know how you feel. My Christopher hasn't contacted me since Jan 13th this year. It's hard but I have decided not to take it personally as many moms seem to be going through the same thing. Haven't seem Chris in one year and four months....miss that boy. Also go back to your post and delete his last name....not supposed to list last names here. I know because I did and was told to remove it. Love your pictures. You have a handsome son. Barbara

Brenna, Yes its true there is swine flu on the ship. I just emailed my daughter and it is true. There is a Dr. that goes to my church. I am going to talk to him Sunday. I will find out from him what all we need to send to our kids. I know they are grown but we never think of them that way. I will post the information on the GW page. Sandy

Hi Brenna, It's so hard when we have to wait so long to see them. Someone up at work asked me when I would see Billie again. I told them maybe next Christmas.
It was nice and sunnyshinny here. Now the fine snow is falling. The grass is covered with it. Brr!! I sure be glad to see spring come. Take care. Sandy

Hi Brenna, Sorry...I thank you for your kindness. I know about the money going fast. I am doing towels with the ship name and the sailors name on them for our Sailors. It's nice to meet new people on sister ships. I hope all is well and I'll keep in touch to see how Christopher is doing.

Hi Brenna, my name is Leann and my son is Douglas jr on the IKE some of us moms thought it would be nice to send out holiday cards and gifts to our group of Sailors. If you would like to be apart could you PM me your son's rank, title and division. I'm making a list of all our sailors with mom's names and sailor info so we could all have it. I wont post it where anyone can get your info....just Ike mom's in our IKE group..I know Douglas said he won't get to come home till Jan or Feb. :[ thanks..my husband works for the post office and thinks we need to mail boxes out by middle of Nov, so I'm trying to get a list out. Thanks...Leann
