Howdee all, Got up at 4:30 to do my Black Friday shopping. My older daughter insisted on coming this year. She actually was a big help. Got all my out of town shopping done and wrapped. Now I'm ready to crash and burn.

Leann told me that you recently had a grandbaby. Congratulations!!! She also said that your daughter isn't with the ship anymore. I can imagine how busy you are but how about popping in on the Ike Family page sometime and giving us all a chance to say "Hi" and "thank you" to our creator. It is a wonderful group of people and I have made so many friends there and received such support. So thank you from me and hugs to the newest member of your family.

Just looking around the site and wanted to thank you for starting the Ike group. I have learned so much in the short time I have joined. Was checking out your pictures. Your daughter is so beautiful and looks very impressive in her uniforms. What exactly is the star banner for. I have seen it hanging in peoples windows and things and assume it means you have a child in the military, but you know what they say about assumptions lol.

my family was on the friends and family day also we had alot of fun but the weekend went to fast but jay might get home for christmas i hope because he was in bc for christmas last year.alot of tears on christmas because he was going to call but 21 guys in his div got in trouble so he didnt get to call untill the 26th.we didnt got anywhere for christmas in case he did call.

Hey sorry I mean Ashley....Douglas said he doesn't think he will get holiday leave, he's thinking Jan or Feb...He told me last night there was on top of everything else that happened a fire...two days ago and it was about 2ft from his head... How is Ashley doing?? My daughter is thinking of joining now after talking to Douglas all the time and then I showed her your Sailor and Megan really in thinking of joining...I think it would be a great idea. How are you doing? Any thing exciting happening? I just work , not alot of excitement here. well Could you let Ashley know I'm sorry for the loss of a shipmate and I hope she is well. take care and i'll catch up with you soon. Sorry I have not kept up, I stated work and I have 10 little ones ages6-12months...I'm so tired. talk with you soon.
