About me:
My son Dale is my oldest by birth; however, with a second marriage he become "4of9". Although there are older and younger children, he is my baby and was the oldest living here at home for the past 5 years. I am currently unemployed (victim of the mortgage and real estate failures) raising the remaining 3 boys with my husband. I have a wonderful support network with family and friends!

It's hard to tell at this point - he is in his 4th full week of basic with PIR date of 11/21/08.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
This was the best decision he/she could have made

The lady below me that is asking about sharing a room ~~ if it is for PIR remember very important to tell themn this is for the navy pir because the rates drop dramatically !! I was quoted 183.00 then it became 87.00 once they knew it was for PIR

Are you still interested in splitting the room? I am not sure that the car can be shared because we are not sure what we will be doing. I was told you almost have to rent a car. I will have to not volunteer that though. Just the room. Let me know. Thanks.

Hey I met with Wendy and got the cards ! She was a very very nice lady ~~ So I am gathering cards for the meet n greet !!
Yep the lady below me is Mary I was telling you about ~ she will 100% help you down the FC/ET path !
She is not too bad-------- for a twidgett mom !! ( LOL inside joke Mary and I pick on each other all the time about Snipes vs Twidgetts ) they both have school at GL !! We just need to know which one Dale is going to be ?? My guess is FC ~~~ :)

Cammy, you are such a sweet boot camp mom. I know Nick will still be there (he's almost done!) but they are doing duty alittle different now. If they have duty on Fridays, they work duty for the full weekend. Fri, Sat. Sunday. I know Nick did not have it last weekend or this weekend ahead so let me ask him if he is on duty that weekend or not. I will also send you a pm with his name and phone # so Dale will have someone to reach out to with any questions, etc. I HOPE to talk with our son tonight and let me check with him about that PIR weekend to see if he has duty - otherwise, he never minds helping someone out.

Hi Cammy, wanted to stop by and welcome you to the AE/CF group. It looks like Dale is still in boot camp. Does he know yet if he will be an FC or an ET. Our son has been in A school since April and will be an FC...just like his daddy was. We have alot of great moms and support in our group, please let us know what questions that you may have.
