Hi Carol, How are things with Jeanette? Have you sent her any mail? I sent Jason a box but he doesn't know where to go to get it. Would Jeanette know where the mail room is on the ship? My son asked a few people and they didn't know. He needs to speak up and find out. He speaks up enough at home but is very quiet elsewhere. He's always been like that. Well, tomorrow is Friday, have a good weekend.

Well, I don't think my son musters anymore (yes it is like roll call). He just has to be at his job during his hours and the job he is currently doing doesn't require him to do PT either. He is having a job adjusting to the ship but is starting to adjust some. There aren't many on the ship, most have apartments or housing which my son is trying to get. There have been many days without hot water which means freezing showers or no shower. He did find the rec room and the weight room which has been somewhat helpful. What does Jeanette say about the ship?

Let me know what Jeanette says about the fires. Do you happen to know or would Jeanette know where to get the mail on the ship? Jason has been there for 2 months and still doesn't know where to get the mail and I have to mail him some important papers.

My son's name is Jason, I don't know if the sailors know each other by first name (Admin. Catherine says not to use last names on the site). My son is an ABE and is part of the air division, but is doing his share of extra duty in the kitchen right now. My son said there were two small fires on board the ship last week. Was your daughter one to help contain the fire?

Hi Carol, Welcome Aboard. My son is on the USS Harry Truman too. What is your sailor's job? My son is an ABE (aviation boatswain equipment). How long has your daughter been on the Truman? My son is fairly new to it, about two months. I have an 18 month old grandson and a 2 1/2 month old granddaughter (my daughter's children). Isn't it wonderful being a grandma, Mimie? Do you get to see Trey often? My grandchildren live about a half an hour away, I see them weekly. Go to the groups and join the Harry S Truman group. It is small, but it is growing. Hope to be talking to you again soon. Pat

What a gorgeous sailor your daughter is! Wishing you the best as she learns her new journey and for those who will help her son know what a great Mom he has.
