Hi Carol,
We haven't figured out a time yet. But we thought that we would leave early enough to check into the hotel and then take a ferry into manhattan for fleet week and enjoy the day.

Hi Carol,
That's really funny that you work in east meadow. Where is the Navy building, I don't even know where it is. Are you going to the Fleet week BBQ for the sailors in Staten Island. I'm going with another mother.
Take care,
Toni (neighbor)

Hi Carol, just wanted to say that i hope ur boy is ok and that my family and i are praying for him! He's been through allot and so have u and ur family. Being a mom is the hardest but most rewarding job we will ever have. I just hope that i am deserving of my childrens luv and that my boys know that they have been loved from the moment that they were created and forever after that!! This Thursday is my sons birthday, he will be 25 and am sad that we will not spend it with him but i keep telling myself that he is alive and well and for that i'm grateful. He's been in for almost 7 years and was ok with it all until a year ago when a close family friends husband, a soldier in the Army was involved in a bombing in Iraq and was burned over 83% of his body. He and his wife r only 26 and they have 3 small children. They will b having a benefit for him in his home town of Gowanda NY in May. They r living at Fort Sam Houston Army Base in Texas for now. Having been closely involved with this family this past year has created a fear that my son is going to be injured or worse. I'm hoping that being a part of "Navy for Moms" will make things better. Oh by the way I grew up in NYC;) Will b thinking of u and ur son. GOD BLESS and please let me know how ur boy is doing;)
