Hi Carol,
Congratulations on your son graduating A school. My son is in his third week of A school. He likes it in GC. He is an ET. What is your son? I don't know much about all of this yet. I would love to hear from you as your son is ahead of mine and you could help me know what to expect. Happy Easter!

Graduation was awesome and the change in Aaron is amazing. He is such a mature young man. And maturity was never his strong suit. He was always a good kid just a little on the young and naive side. He is such a man now! And he walks with such an air of confidence and pride (well-deserved, too)
He said he spotted us right away. Actually he spotted his sister, she has very long naturally curly hair and he saw her and her hair right way. He said he had to look away to regain his composure.
We stayed at the Ramada Inn in Waukegan. It was about 4 miles away. And no, we didn't go anywhere near Chicago. It took us an hour to get past it in horrible weather and we just didn't want to go near there. My husband and daughter did go to the local mall (Gurnee, perhaps, not sure) They were getting a little stir crazy sitting in the hotel room, so they went out and drove around in the snow. 4 inches had fallen by this time. But he said the malls were packed and they had fun.
Enjoy your time with your son and talk to you soon, I'm sure.

Carol--Merry Christmas! Aaron graduated on Christmas Eve and is home with us now. Graduation was wonderful. The drive up was a little rough. The roads in Indiana and especially around Chicago were horrible. We left on the 23rd and that night the temp was about -5 and we got about 7 inches of snow. But seeing him at grad. was worth everything. Especially when we were able to pack him up and drive home with him. I don"t think I let go of him until we stopped in Indiana to get a bite to eat. I just wanted to let you know how everything went. Have a Blessed New Year!

I customized an already existing design (the one with the blue stripe across the top and bottom and added his offical sailor picture to the left side of it, with "we love our sailor" on the top blue stripe, his name and "we are so proud of you" in the middle, and "love your family & friends" in the bottom stripe). I did pay extra to have grommets added to it to make hanging it easy. The quality is very, very nice, it should last for a lot of years.
