Dear Carol,
How are you doing tongiht?
That is hard, I know, so many things I have done, were always with my children. Even vocations. My husband doesn't like doing anything, so I go on small vocations with my children, heck with him!! HAHA! I tell him to feed the animals! HAHA!

That's great that you have your plans mapped out, good for you. My older daughter had spring break two weeks ago. To my surprise, my daughter Kim drove up! What a surprise.!! The girls had this plan to surprise me.

God bless you, I read your profile, you work with emotional disturbed children.
As much as that is a challenging job, it's rewarding as well!

My girlfriends daughter, she graduated form college and studied fashion design. Now, she's lost interest, and is now studying to be a speech pathologist for elementary school. Another rewarding job!

Let me get going. You stay well,
Take care and God bless,
Your friend,
Barbara

Carol: There are many, many groups on here. The boot camp group would be a good group for you right now, everyone there has a recruit at boot camp, so they are all going thru the same emotions, feelings, that you are.

It can also be a big help to look for a group with the same graduation date (from boot camp) or with the same division # as your recruits. And for a group for his "rate" (job) that he will be training for. My sailor is currently finishing up his Aschooling for DC (Damage Control).

If you have any questions or just want to vent, leave me a message.

Dear Carol,
How are you doing? This Navy for moms is such a blessing.
Ben is only gone 10 days, how are you holding up?

He's doing fine and in good hands with the Navy.
Once he gets into the rountine of Boot Camp and over being homessick, he'll like Boot Camp. They all do, beleivce it or not.

He's first long letter will be around the third week, usualy. Sometimes that first letter is sad, but don't panic if it is. The letters will get more uplifting.

My daughter Kim is on the USS Normandy in Viriginia. She was trained to read the radar.

I hope to hear from you again.
Take care and God bless,
Barbara
